Laura moved to Cobourg in 1990
from Mississauga where she had a thriving Real Estate
Career. Laura has never looked back, coming to Cobourg was
like coming back to her roots and it didn't take her long to
become a Top Producer in Northumberland. Laura has been the
backbone of many community involvements such as the Survivor-Thrivers and the Cancer Relay for Life, both Laura and her
Husband Rene were United Way Campaign Co-Chairs in 2000 and
she is still always helping in
Fundraising. Laura has been a Rotarian for about 9 years and
her husband has been for over 35 years. She states "Everyone
here knows what Rotary does for the community. I have had
the privilege of meeting the greatest people in the area
through Rotary. It is a real honour to be a member". She has
also been a member of the Cobourg Inner Wheel. She has also
been very involved with the Hospital Foundation in Areas of
the Gala, a Platinum Sponsor for two years and "Caring
for Generations Society". She is a Past President of the
Cobourg-Port Hope Real Estate Board and a Past Governor for
the Board of Directors for the Ontario Real Estate
Association Foundation. She has been involved in the
Campaign for a new rink complex for our youth.
Laura has been in Organized Real
Estate since the mid 80s and simply states "Re/max" is the
best and Re/max thinks she is too, as they inducted her into
the " Re/max Hall of Fame" in 2007. Laura looks forwards to
a very long and successful career.
